before, in front of, in the front of

這些前置詞(短語)均含有“在……前”之意。

: 指空間位置或時間的“在……前”。表時間時，反義詞為after；指空間位置時，其反義詞是behind。

例如：The man standing before the blackboard is our English teacher.（站在黑板前面的那個人是我們的英語老師。）

front of : 指在某地方之外的前面，即不在其中，多與靜態(tài)動詞連用，通?？膳cbefore通用。

the front of : 指在某地方之內(nèi)的前面，即在其中的前部分。

例如：In the front of the picture is the figure of a man.（在這張照片的最前面是一位男士。）
