Brother Bear and Sister Bear know quite a lot about Bear Country. They know where the best honey trees are. They know the best place for seeing a rainbow.
熊哥哥和熊妹妹非常了解熊王國(guó)。他們知道哪里有最好的蜂蜜樹。他們知道哪里能看到彩虹。

But they don’t know much about money. When they get some money, they run as fast as they can to the Bear Country Mall and spend it.
但是他們不了解錢。每當(dāng)他們有錢，他們就會(huì)立刻去熊王國(guó)的購(gòu)物街花掉。

Sometimes, Sister puts her money in her piggy bank. But she usually shakes it just a little while later. Brother doesn’t even have a piggy bank.
有時(shí)候，熊妹妹會(huì)把錢放到自己的豬豬存錢罐里。但通常都是剛過一會(huì)就取出來(lái)。熊哥哥臉存錢罐都沒有。

One day, Brother and Sister go to the mall. They see a new video game. It looks exciting. They run home to ask Papa to buy it.
一天，熊哥哥和熊妹妹去購(gòu)物街。他們看見一個(gè)新的電子游戲?？雌饋?lái)很刺激。他們跑回家讓熊爸爸買。

Papa gets angry. He shouts, “A video game! At the mall! You must think I’m made of money!”
熊爸爸很生氣。他吼道，“電子游戲！在購(gòu)物街！你肯定以為我是錢做的吧！”

“You must think money grows on trees!” He shouts again.
“你們肯定以為錢是長(zhǎng)在樹上的！”他再次大吼。

“Video games! There were no video games when I was a cub!” He goes on, getting more and more angry. “You must make your money! That’s what life is about – working, making money, saving for a rainy day!” Papa knocks over a chair.
“電子游戲！我小時(shí)候可沒有電子游戲！”他繼續(xù)吼，越來(lái)越生氣了。“你們必須自己掙錢！這才是生活--工作，掙錢，省錢以備急用！”熊爸爸打翻了一把椅子。

Now Brother and Sister know how serious it is. They decide to make some money.
現(xiàn)在熊哥哥和熊妹妹知道了時(shí)態(tài)的嚴(yán)重性。他們決定去掙點(diǎn)錢。
