Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's third child is due at the end of January.

The couple have hired a surrogate because she has a medical condition -- placenta accreta -- that became extremely serious during her second pregnancy.

The couple, who married in May 2014, already have daughter North, four, and one year old son Saint.

After suffering with medical complications with her first pregnancies, Kim had been told by a doctor it was too risky for her to carry her own child again.

During her latest interview Kim said on the subject of a third child, reportedly with a surrogate: "We're definitely trying. We are hoping so."

She added: "There have been a lot of things said and Kanye and I have not confirmed anything."

However Kim revealed she won't be allowing the cameras film quite so much of her pregnancies the next time round.

In the past the reality star has given detailed accounts on her blog about the difficulties she experienced during her two labours, and the TV show has followed her various surgeries and doctor consultations in a bid to resolve them.
