口譯話題：
據(jù)《廣州日報》報道，廣州白云心理研究所青少年心靈成長中心主任沈家宏介紹說，目前業(yè)界準備不再使用“網(wǎng)絡(luò)成癮”(網(wǎng)癮)這種說法了，改稱為“病理性上網(wǎng)”。衛(wèi)生部正在進行調(diào)研，確定它的診斷標準，一旦診斷標準確立，“病理性上網(wǎng)”就是一種病。由于切近日常生活，這個報道引發(fā)了眾多網(wǎng)友的興趣。專業(yè)人士看來，“網(wǎng)癮”改名這個舉動本身是在朝著更科學、更客觀的方向前進，但更多非專業(yè)人士卻提供了更廣闊、更多樣的觀察角度，聽聽他們的見解，對于網(wǎng)絡(luò)依賴的防治不無裨益。

講解：
“網(wǎng)絡(luò)成癮”和“病理性上網(wǎng)”這樣兩個術(shù)語中，第一個譯成internet (online) addiction (disorder)都可以，不過internet addiction disorder已經(jīng)成為較固定的說法；第二個術(shù)語的翻譯，不能只說pathological internet，應(yīng)該補充use or surfing這樣的詞才完整。專業(yè)論文中使用pathological internet use的較常見。還有就是“改稱”，有一個英語表達法就是substitute A for B, 在翻譯的時候要注意是“病理性上網(wǎng)”代替了“網(wǎng)絡(luò)成癮”。

“由于切近日常生活”，要講清楚是誰的日常生活，因為英語很重視指代關(guān)系。還有就是“網(wǎng)友”的翻譯，在該文語境中，不應(yīng)該是net friends，而應(yīng)該是net users或netizens。下面則涉及“專業(yè)人士”與“非專業(yè)人士”的對應(yīng)翻譯，可以使用laymen對specialists或non- professionals對professionals來翻譯。最后是“不無裨益”這一成語，在英語中不必翻的太過復雜，筆者使用了good一詞。

It is reported by Guangzhou Daily that according to Shen Jiahong, director of Juvenile Mental Growth Center, Guangzhou Baiyun Psychological Institute, the medical circle has decided to substitute “pathological internet use” for “internet addiction disorder”. As involving their daily life, the topic fascinates a lot of net users. To the specialists the new term for “internet dependence” channels its research in a scientific and objective direction, but to the laymen the term offers a broad and varied perspective on the same issue. And it is good to listen to their opinions on the prevention and cure of internet dependence.
