滬江英樂：“白色條紋” (The White Stripes) 樂隊可能是世界上最神秘的樂隊。隊中的一男一女聲稱是兄妹關(guān)系，然而事實卻并非如此，有狗仔隊的證據(jù)明明證明他們是曾經(jīng)恩愛如今已經(jīng)分飛的夫婦。他們將60年代粗野卻飽含活力的車庫搖滾重新帶回了音樂界，使奄奄一息的歐美音樂界忍不住眼光一亮。

“白色條紋”成立于1997年。最初，因為穿得像兩顆糖果（在中國，會不會有人說他們像兩個紅包套）和沒有貝斯手，他們獲得了一定的關(guān)注。1999年和 2000年，他們發(fā)行了兩張唱片后，獲得了和“人行道”（Pavement）樂隊一起巡演的機會。在發(fā)展過程中，樂隊開始把音樂做得充滿孩子氣，這和他們 的裝束也是一致的，同時他們又在孩子氣中加入了人見人愛的幽默感。這是樂隊最終勝出的又一大原因所在，而為國內(nèi)很多“資深”樂迷所津津樂道的“布魯斯爆炸”（Blues Explosion）盡管有著稚氣的風情卻由于缺乏幽默感而并未在歐美主流樂壇形成氣候。

白條于2011年初在其官網(wǎng)發(fā)表正式聲明，宣布該樂隊解散。在聲明中解釋了樂隊解散的原因不是因為二人有分歧，而是二人認為他們希望將現(xiàn)在所獲得的一切保留住。二人希望這個消息不會讓他們的歌迷悲傷，而是可以讓大家都以一個積極的態(tài)度去面對這個事實。

樂隊在13年中共發(fā)行了6張專輯，樂隊的代表作《Hotel Yorba》，《Fell In Love With A Girl》以及今天為大家奉送的《Seven Nation Army》曾為樂隊贏得了5次格萊美獎及1次全英獎。

同時，《Seven Nation Army》也是2011年第八季英國偶像X Factor亞軍--23歲男歌手Marcus Collins的個人首支單曲，Marcus首張同名大碟3月11日在英國發(fā)行。
