7月26日，NBA洛杉磯湖人隊球星科比·布萊恩特開啟其2010年中國行序幕。五天時間他將到訪五座城市，北京是第一站。當(dāng)日，科比北京球迷見面活動在北京世紀(jì)劇院舉行。科比說，五次奪冠經(jīng)歷，其中最讓他難忘且感覺奪冠最艱辛的一次就是“兩個月打敗凱爾特人”。

NBA superstar Kobe Bryant got the chance to see how popular he is in China on Monday. The Los Angeles Lakers guard met with his Chinese fans during an on-stage talk show in the Beijing's Century Theatre.

In the one-hour chat show, Kobe shared many of his experiences and admitted the most difficult and unforgettable championship of the five he has won, was the recent battle with the Boston Celtics.

"But I am gonna say this year's finals was all about, like a revenge finals." Kobe told the gathered crowd.

"Because now we were facing a team that beat you two years ago and it was like we have to prove to ourselves and everybody else that we deserved to be the champions." he added.

Some 1600 basketball fans packed the theatre while thousands of others waited outside, hoping to see their hero.

A young Chinese basketball fan, who used to attend Kobe training camp, sat next to his idol and asked Kobe his key to success.

"The only thing that is important and the only thing that matters is that you believe in yourself," Bryant told him. "What anybody else says makes no difference to you at all. That's how I look at it."

"And I practice all the time as you do now, you practice all the time. All the time, all the time. So now when the game comes, you don't have to think about it. It just, you know, it just happens." The basketball star encouraged his young fans.

Beijing was the first stop on Bryant's 2010 Tour of China, with another four cities, including Changchun, Hangzhou, Guangzhou and Chengdu to visit.
