be in the big leagues: 專業(yè)人士，大人物。這個(gè)短語(yǔ)來(lái)自于職業(yè)體育。league指的是聯(lián)盟，聯(lián)合會(huì)。
a big shot: 大亨，權(quán)貴之人；大人物。
live it up: 花錢(qián)尋樂(lè)。
a somebody: 指有名的、眾所周知的人。與之相對(duì)的是nobody，指不著名的、無(wú)名的人。
