雞年春節(jié)逐漸接近尾聲了，但是，小伙伴們可千萬不要忘了還有一個元宵節(jié)哦！

元宵節(jié)
Lantern Festival falls on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month. This is the first full moon of the new year, symbolizing unity and perfection. Lantern Festival is an important part of Spring Festival , and marks the official end of the long holiday.
元宵節(jié)是農(nóng)歷正月的第十五天，這是（農(nóng)歷）新年的第一次滿月，象征著和睦和團圓。元宵節(jié)是春節(jié)的一個重要組成部分，也象征著春節(jié)長假的正式結(jié)束。（雖然各位小天使們大多數(shù)在年初九開始上班或者上學了(●'?'●)）
題外話：農(nóng)歷正月十五元宵節(jié)(Lantern Festival)，又稱為“上元節(jié)、小正月、元夕或燈節(jié)，是春節(jié)之后的第一個重要節(jié)日，也是中國亦是漢字文化圈的地區(qū)和海外華人的傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日之一。正月是農(nóng)歷的元月，古人稱夜為“宵”，所以把一年中第一個月圓之夜正月十五稱為元宵節(jié)。
元宵節(jié)元宵節(jié)，最重要的就是吃元宵了吧？是的，北方的小伙伴是吃元宵(rice glue ball) 的，而南方的英語君是吃湯圓(glutinous rice ball) 的，以前英語君分不清元宵和湯圓，就直接叫它們都是sweet dumplings，想想也是挺省事兒的呀。但是，雖然元宵和湯圓看起來差不多，但是由于地域原因，制作方法、口感 (mouthfeel) 和保存時間等還是有差別的呢~

北方小伙伴吃的元宵，其餡料多為豆沙、芝麻等甜餡；南方小伙伴吃的湯圓，餡料方面則多彩多樣，甜、咸，葷、素都有，口味眾多。制作方法可以用兩個字概括，元宵是“滾”，湯圓是“包”。制作元宵的時候，先把餡料 (filling) 切成小塊，沾上水之后扔進盛滿糯米粉 (glutinous rice flour) 的笸籮內(nèi)滾動，邊滾邊灑水，直到滾成大小合適的圓球就算做好了。而湯圓的制作方法就省力很多，只要將準備好的餡料用糯米面皮包上就可以了。南方人的英語君也是會做湯圓的噢：
1.和粉
Glutinous rice ball/Tangyuan is made from glutinous rice flour.?First prepare glutinous rice flour in a bowl and add hot water? slowly until they mix into dough. Then you can pinch off the dough and roll them into small balls.
湯圓是由糯米粉做成的。首先在碗內(nèi)準備一些糯米粉，然后慢慢地加入熱水，直到二者混為一個面團。將面團搓成長條并掰成一段一段，將每段揉搓成一個小圓球。
2.放餡料啦~~
Secondly?you can fill? Glutinous rice ball with either sweet or savoury fillings. Sweet fillings are often made from peanut butter, black sesame seeds or red beans. But some people prefer the savoury fillings made from meat, mushroom and green vegetables.Then you can?try to enwrap all the fillings into glutinous rice dough.
其次你就可以在湯圓里內(nèi)加入甜的或咸的餡料啦。甜的餡料通常由花生醬（這可是英語君的最愛）、黑芝麻或紅豆制成。但也有人喜歡由肉、香菇和青菜做成的咸味餡料。然后將選擇的餡料包進一個個面團里。
3.可以煮湯圓啦！
Finally you can drop these Glutinous rice balls into boiling water and cook them for about?several minutes until they float.
最后將這些湯圓倒進開水里面，煮幾分鐘后，等湯圓浮在鍋里就熟啦~
但是元宵節(jié)除了吃元宵吃湯圓之外，還會猜燈謎（Guess lantern riddles）和看煙火(Watch fireworks )呢！
The fifteenth day of the New Year is the Lantern Festival.It is the traditionla end of the Spring Festival celbrations.People send glowing lanterns into the sky while others left floating lanterns go on the rivers or lakes.
正月十五是元宵節(jié)，這是春節(jié)傳統(tǒng)意義上的結(jié)束。有些人會向空中放燈，也有人會將燈放到河面和湖面。
Fireworks will? be launched to? celebrate Lantern Festival as well as to cheat the god of fire.Some people attend or watch the public? and private firework displays.
放煙花是為了慶祝元宵節(jié)、糊弄火神（傳言火神曾下令元宵節(jié)大火燒人間，神仙們和人類便想出了在元宵節(jié)放煙火的辦法來糊弄火神）。一些人也會觀看公眾或私人燃放的煙花。
