技能一——會(huì)開(kāi)嘴炮，走遍天下都不怕

1.How did the final exams go?期末考的怎么樣呀？

終極回答：Nowhere, sucked as I always do. And my teacher threw the book at me, I’ve been grounded forever at home, even just a glimpse of my phone would take my dinner away. So yes, basically, the exams ruined my life, now I know better so next time I will do better.
不怎么樣，跟往常一樣爛。老師已經(jīng)狠狠的數(shù)落了我一通，我被關(guān)在家里大概永遠(yuǎn)都不能出門浪了，就算偷看一眼手機(jī)也會(huì)被罰挨餓。所以簡(jiǎn)言之，期末考?xì)У袅宋业囊磺校疫@次是真的怕了，我下次再也不敢浪了。

Tips:

1）going nowhere的意思除了字面上的哪也不去，更深一層的意思是沒(méi)有進(jìn)展，沒(méi)有前途，失敗透了，跟going places（大獲成功）剛好相反。

2）throw the book at sb的意思往往不是字面上的把書(shū)扔向某人，而是厲聲斥責(zé)，嚴(yán)肅處理，嚴(yán)懲的意思

3）know better的意思是更加懂事，相較之下或在某一方面更明白事理

2.Have you passed the CET 4/6 yet?英語(yǔ)四／六級(jí)過(guò)了沒(méi)呀？

終極回答：No, no I haven’t. And I know I better get that done, or I might not get a job after I graduate from college. But who am I kidding? I probably won’t get a job out of a million reasons, who cares about this one?
喝喝，沒(méi)有，我可還沒(méi)考過(guò)四六級(jí)呢。我知道我最好快點(diǎn)考下來(lái)，否則我可能畢業(yè)都找不到工作了。誒，話說(shuō)回來(lái)可真好笑，我找不到工作的原因大概數(shù)到明天也數(shù)不完吧，誰(shuí)還在乎四六級(jí)過(guò)不過(guò)呢？

Tips:

1）who am I kidding的功能類似于說(shuō)frankly speaking，也就是“跟你實(shí)話實(shí)說(shuō)吧、說(shuō)實(shí)在的吧”，不過(guò)更口語(yǔ)化一些

2）out of的用法很靈活，在這里說(shuō)out of xxx reason的意思就是出于xxx原因

3.How’s your salary? Do they pay you well?你現(xiàn)在工資掙的多不多呀，每月多少呀？

終極回答： It’s hard to say, but I think it’s something between kept me from starving, and also from tossing dollar bills just for fun.
工資多不多這個(gè)還真不太好說(shuō)，但我想我這個(gè)水平的工資，大概沒(méi)有少到讓我填不飽肚子，但也沒(méi)有多到可以隨便撕錢玩找樂(lè)子。

4. Are you dating anyone right now?有對(duì)象了嘛？

終極回答： I wish I’m not, but seriously there’s like 5 guys/girls asking me out at the same time, so I’m kinda dating 5 people. Oh don’t worry, they know about each other, but I’m just that popular.
我倒希望沒(méi)有，不過(guò)說(shuō)實(shí)話，現(xiàn)在大概有5個(gè)人在追我呢，我正在一個(gè)個(gè)試試看。哦別擔(dān)心，他們都知道競(jìng)爭(zhēng)很激烈，但我可能就是太受歡迎了吧。

Tip：

說(shuō)起dating，追求某人的說(shuō)法還真是有不少。比如chase after someone，最直白的“追”，或者ask someone out，“約”（別污，還有比較害羞，但又有點(diǎn)小曖昧的text each other，互發(fā)消息，聊天～

技能二——轉(zhuǎn)移話題，永遠(yuǎn)不老套

5. It’s time to get your marriage plan on.你這歲數(shù)也差不多該結(jié)婚了吧？

終極回答：That’s so true, but speaking of that, have you seen that family TV show? It’s just so great! Let me tell you all about it.
您說(shuō)的還真對(duì)，不過(guò)一提到結(jié)婚，我就想起來(lái)那個(gè)家庭電視劇來(lái)了，您看過(guò)嗎？實(shí)在是太好看啦，我跟您說(shuō)這劇啊blahblahblah……

6. Any plan about kids?是不是該要孩子啦？

終極回答：We are working on it, every time I see the baby clothes in the mall, my heart breaks a little bit. They are just so darn adorable! Speaking of which, do you know there’s a big sale in that mall, they’re literally giving things away……
我們正在打算著呢，每次我在商場(chǎng)里看到小孩兒衣服，我的心都撲通撲通的，實(shí)在是太可愛(ài)啦！說(shuō)到商場(chǎng)，你知道那個(gè)商場(chǎng)正在大促銷嗎，簡(jiǎn)直就是白送呀……

Tips：

1）working on something的意思是正在做，正在忙某事，也可以說(shuō)on it

2）每次擼萌貓視頻，我都被萌的心都要跳出來(lái)啦，這種時(shí)候就可以說(shuō)my heart breaks a little

3）darn可以說(shuō)是凈化版的damn，一般在不該說(shuō)臟話，但又忍不住感嘆的場(chǎng)合，就可以用darn來(lái)代替damn呀

技能三——實(shí)在沒(méi)招，我就裝傻吧

7. How’s the diet going?減肥減的咋樣啦？

終極回答：What? Who told you I’m on a diet? I don’t think I’ve ever heard of that word before. This is so funny.
啥？誰(shuí)跟您說(shuō)我在減肥呢，我的字典里就沒(méi)有過(guò)減肥兩個(gè)字呀。真有意思呀。

8. Everybody’s on Weibo now, tell me your Weibo account and I’ll friend you.現(xiàn)在微博好像挺火的？你的微博賬號(hào)是啥呀，讓我來(lái)關(guān)注你

終極回答：I’m sorry I didn’t hear you, oh wait, let me get out and shut the door first.
