在平時(shí)的學(xué)習(xí)中，我們會(huì)覺(jué)得寫作或做題時(shí)遇見的定語(yǔ)從句較多，除此之外，口語(yǔ)中也會(huì)有大量使用定語(yǔ)從句的時(shí)候。不過(guò)在具體語(yǔ)境中有些需要注意的地方，以關(guān)系代詞而言：
1. 非書面語(yǔ)中，對(duì)于有著賓語(yǔ)作用的關(guān)系代詞往往可以省略

A.Have you waited the proper time (that)you refer to all the time?
你已經(jīng)等到了你一直提及的那個(gè)合適的時(shí)間了嗎？（that 可以省略）

B.That is not a complicated method(that) she think about.
那不是她所想的一個(gè)復(fù)雜的方法。（that可以省略）

2. 當(dāng)介詞在關(guān)系代詞之前時(shí)，只能用which修飾物，whom修飾人，而不可以用that
A.This is the corridor at which a student cried yesterday.
昨天一個(gè)學(xué)生在這個(gè)走廊哭泣。（which不可用that替換）

B.Who is that boy with whom you will come in five hours later.
你將要和一個(gè)男孩在5小時(shí)后進(jìn)來(lái)，那個(gè)男孩是誰(shuí)呢？

3. 在一個(gè)句子中如果有兩個(gè)定語(yǔ)從句，其中一個(gè)用了who，另一個(gè)只能用that來(lái)指人
A.Something that a machine can do for human is relay on the worker who operate it.
機(jī)器能做為人類做的一些事取決于操作它的工作人員。

4. 注意只有that出現(xiàn)的情況
A.This is the best film I have watched.
這是我看過(guò)的最好的一部電影。

B.Can you figure out the music and their instruments that we have seen at the concert?
你能分辨出我們?cè)谝魳?lè)會(huì)上看到的演奏家和他們的樂(lè)器嗎？
