Not a rose, but the scent of the rose.
Not the sky, but the light of the sky.
Not the fly, but the gleam of the fly.
Not the sea, but the sound of sea .
Not myself, but what makes me .
See ,hear and feel something that prose
Cannot: and what it is who knows.
什么是詩(shī)？誰(shuí)知道它的模樣？
不是玫瑰，是玫瑰的憂傷；
不是天空，是天空的開(kāi)朗；
不是飛翔，是飛翔的喜悅；
不是大海，是大海的歡暢。
不是我，卻讓我感覺(jué)
用眼用耳用我的手掌
什么是詩(shī)？誰(shuí)知道它的模樣？

今天我們要聽(tīng)的是泰戈?duì)柕?最遙遠(yuǎn)的距離"。
泰戈?duì)?Tagore)是印度近代和現(xiàn)代最偉大的作家，詩(shī)人，小說(shuō)家，戲劇家，美術(shù)家，音樂(lè)家。1913年以英文散文詩(shī)集《吉檀迦利》獲諾貝爾文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)。
有人說(shuō)泰戈?duì)柧拖衲翘祀H的明星。因?yàn)樗麑?xiě)過(guò)在"那里，心是無(wú)畏的，頭也抬的高昂；在那里，智識(shí)是自由的；
......在那里，話是從真理的深處說(shuō)出；......在那里，心靈是受你的指引，走向那不斷放寬的思想與行為"像那啟明星帶引我們走向黎明。

But when undoubtedly knowing the love from both
Yet cannot be together
世界上最遙遠(yuǎn)的距離
不是我站在你面前
你卻看不到我對(duì)你的愛(ài)
而是感受到對(duì)方堅(jiān)定的愛(ài)意
卻不能在一起
The furthest distance in the world
Is not being apart while being in love
But when plainly cannot resist the yearning
Yet pretending you have never been in my heart
世界上最遙遠(yuǎn)的距離
不是相愛(ài)的人不能在一起
而是明明不能停止思念
卻裝作對(duì)方從未走進(jìn)自己心間
The furthest distance in the world
Is not but using one’s indifferent heart
To dig an uncrossable river
For the one who loves you
世界上最遙遠(yuǎn)的距離
是用冷漠的心
為愛(ài)你的人
挖掘一條無(wú)法穿越的鴻溝
