一、概念上的不同點(diǎn)：

一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)概念：表示通常性、規(guī)律性、習(xí)慣性、真理性的狀態(tài)或者動作(有時(shí)間規(guī)律發(fā)生的事件)的一種時(shí)間狀態(tài)。
現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)概念：現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)表示動作發(fā)生的時(shí)間是“現(xiàn)在”，動作目前的狀態(tài)是“正在進(jìn)行中”。所謂“正在進(jìn)行中”，是指在談到這件事的時(shí)候，這個(gè)動作還在進(jìn)行中。至于它是什么時(shí)候開始的，什么時(shí)候會停下來，不是我們關(guān)心的。

二、結(jié)構(gòu)的不同點(diǎn)：

一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)結(jié)構(gòu)：常以動詞原形表示，但當(dāng)主語是第三人稱單數(shù)時(shí)，應(yīng)用動詞的單數(shù)第三人稱形式。
現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)結(jié)構(gòu)：主語+be+v+ing〔現(xiàn)在分詞形式）
不同點(diǎn)：一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)是表示現(xiàn)在經(jīng)常性、習(xí)慣性的動作，或現(xiàn)在的狀態(tài)，強(qiáng)調(diào)長期性、穩(wěn)定性，而現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)是指現(xiàn)在此刻或現(xiàn)在這一時(shí)期內(nèi)正在進(jìn)行的動作，強(qiáng)調(diào)暫時(shí)性不穩(wěn)定性。例如：

He usually gets up at six in the morning.(經(jīng)常性、習(xí)慣性動作)
She is an Englishwoman.(現(xiàn)在的狀態(tài))
We are working on the farm these days.(現(xiàn)在這期間的動作，表示這幾天暫時(shí)在農(nóng)場上幫忙) Look! The boys are fighting.(現(xiàn)在此刻所發(fā)生的動作)
時(shí)間狀語的不同

三、時(shí)間狀語的不同

一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)常與often, sometimes, always, usually等頻度副詞和every morning / day / week, on Wednesday, on Sundays, in the morning / afternoon / evening等時(shí)間狀語連用?，F(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)常與now, these days, at this moment等時(shí)間狀語連用。句首有 Look! / Listen!等提示語時(shí),后面的句子也要用現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)。如:

We often go shopping on Sunday.

Listen! Someone is singing an English song in the classroom.
