昨天，全世界的漫威粉都炸了。

在最新發(fā)行的《美國隊長-史蒂夫·羅杰斯》第1期漫畫（Captain America: Steve Rogers #1）中，美國隊長這位潔白無瑕的人間天使愛的化身，竟然變成了九頭蛇的臥底！

在漫畫結(jié)尾，美國隊長說出了漫威反派組織九頭蛇（Hydra）的標志性口號Hail Hydra（九頭蛇萬歲）。

The Daily Beast的報道中說：

The provocative first issue of Captain America run outs Steve Rogers as a deep-cover Hydra agent—a jaw-droppingly audacious twist that’s incensed certain comic fans and earned the writer accusations of everything from anti-Semitism to soft homophobia (for giving Steve a dual identity rather than a boyfriend).
極富爭議的美國隊長第一期漫畫，揭露美隊其實是潛伏得很深的九頭蛇特工。這個讓人大跌眼鏡的大膽情節(jié)轉(zhuǎn)折激怒了不少漫畫粉，對作者群起而攻之，從反猶太主義，到輕微恐同（因為他沒給美隊一個男朋友卻給了他一個雙重身份），罵什么的都有。

a jaw-droppingly（掉下巴的） audacious twist，說的是a plot twist，也就是劇情的轉(zhuǎn)變、反轉(zhuǎn)。你還可以說the plot takes a grotesque turn，劇情發(fā)生了荒誕的轉(zhuǎn)折。

如果你還不知道九頭蛇是啥：

Hydra is a terrorist organization in the Marvel Universe that’s been a major villainous presence in the comics since 1965.
九頭蛇是漫威宇宙的恐怖組織，從1965年的漫威漫畫中開始就是個流毒無窮的大反派。

注：戲劇中形容大boss，大反派，用的都是villain這個詞。

In Steve Rogers #1, it’s revealed that Steve was recruited by Hydra when he was a kid. And that he’s still working with them. It’s a controversial decision, to say the least – especially given that Hydra is an organization with strong Nazi ties.
在剛出的漫畫里，史蒂夫還是個孩子的時候，就被九頭蛇招募，現(xiàn)在仍和他們有聯(lián)系。最保守地說，這也是個充滿爭議的決定，尤其考慮到九頭蛇是一個有著強烈納粹色彩的組織。

路人的反應基本上都是這樣的：

但粉絲圈都集體氣炸了。

Twitter上發(fā)起了#SayNoToHYDRACap（#對九頭蛇美隊說不#）的話題，網(wǎng)友群而罵之……

“哦，如果美隊又變好了咋辦”，可是這完全不相干。你不知道這種事給人造成的打擊。他們把美隊給毀了。#SayNoToHYDRACap

還有義憤填膺發(fā)表抗議的：

把美隊變成九頭蛇太惡心了，我拒絕相信這件事，拒絕接受這個作為官方設定。我建議你，或者任何看漫畫、關心美國隊長這一角色的人，和我一起這么做。太可怕了。他們所做的事不僅冷漠而且可恥、不尊重人，完全、徹底地不正確。簡直惡心到極致。

連美隊本人也懵逼了……

九頭蛇？！？?。?告訴我這不是真的

然而作者Nick Spencer在接受The Daily Beast的采訪時似乎還很得意，他哈哈笑說：

“I’m the most hated man in America today and Donald Trump is running for president!”
特朗普還在競選總統(tǒng)，而今天我成為美國人民最憎恨的人了。

還表示，“outrage is exactly what he wanted”，網(wǎng)友的憤怒正是他想看到的。

The Daily Beast的這篇采訪標題是“我為什么要把美隊變成超級大反派”。

所以，Turn somebody into a villain也就是我們常說的黑化啦。

另外，副標題里寫的why Captain America broke bad。其中break bad也可以用來表達黑化。

Break bad可有兩個解釋：

1. (of an event or of one's fortunes) To go wrong; to go downhill.

（一件事或一個人的運氣）變糟糕；急轉(zhuǎn)直下

2. (of a person) To go bad; to turn toward immorality or crime.

（一個人）變壞；變得不道德，犯罪

Nick Spencer說這是預謀已久的事情：

Yeah, we’ve been holding onto this for about 16 months now, so it’s been well over a year that we’ve been keeping this under wraps.

沒錯，我們計劃這個情節(jié)已經(jīng)有16個月了，所以差不多一年多，我們一直把這件事藏著沒透露出來。

under wraps：保密，不公開

那漫威官方對美隊黑化這事兒沒意見嗎？Nick說：

Everybody seemed really into the idea and really supportive.

每個人都很喜歡這個想法，而且特別支持。

into something：喜歡、有興趣

作者到底是怎么突然開了這個腦洞呢？原來是他和上一任作者Rick Remender交接時，Rick給了他一些線索：

Hydra had infiltrated all the various teams and organizations in the Marvel universe and we were gonna be weeding out the various Hydra clans.

九頭蛇滲入了漫威宇宙中所有的團隊和組織中，我們要慢慢鏟除不同的九頭蛇團伙。

weed out：清除、連根拔去

So I started to kind of drill it down a bit and I started wondering, what if there’s just one Hydra plant? What if they think they’re looking for a hundred people and it turns out there’s just one really good one? And if there’s just one really good Hydra plant, who would that be? Within a second, I realized that Steve was by far the person who could do the most damage.
然后我就開始琢磨這個事兒，我就想，如果只有一個九頭蛇臥底呢？如果他們以為在找的是一百多個人，結(jié)果卻只有一個真正厲害的呢？如果只有一個最厲害的九頭蛇臥底的話，那會是誰呢？不到一秒鐘，我就想到了美隊，如果他是臥底的話，會帶來最大的殺傷力。

drill down：深入探討、鉆研

網(wǎng)友都在譴責作者黑化美隊，是對最早創(chuàng)作出美隊這個形象的猶太作者的侮辱。（There’s a lot of uproar online about how this storyline insults the legacies of Captain America’s Jewish creators.）Nick是這樣爭辯的：

Look, everybody who’s working on this story loves Captain America.
哎，寫這個故事的每個人都是愛美隊的。

從他的說法上來看，似乎還會把劇情扳回來……

But what I think I can say with confidence is that with this story, our intention and our hope is that in its own unique way, it reinforces what everybody already knows about Captain America, which is his power as a symbol and what that means. We are approaching it from a different angle, but I think it illuminates the character in a way that we’ve never seen before.
我可以自信地說，在這個故事里，我們的目的和愿望是，用一種獨特的方式，強化人們對美隊已有的認知，也就是他具有象征意義和內(nèi)涵的強大力量。我們是從另一個角度將其展現(xiàn)出來，而且能以前所未見的方式來闡釋這個角色。

無論如何，粉絲遭到欺騙和背叛的心一時半會兒是轉(zhuǎn)不回來了……
