This cheeky critter had other ideas when Greenpeace USA came to film a spectacular time-lapse video.

Hours after environmentalists left a GoPro camera filming in Montana’s Glacier National Park, the curious marmot decided to ruin the shot with a sensational photobomb.

Caught on tape, the cute critter approaches the camera and starts licking the lens — before toppling the tripod over and leaving the gadget recording only the clouds.

Workers returned to the scene and found that, despite painstaking preparation, their plans had been dashed.

But when they saw the creature’s hilarious antics on film, they decided the sacrifice had been worth it.

“Though we didn’t capture the time-lapse video of Glacier National Park that we intended to, we captured something much cooler ... Marmot Love,” the organization said.

Greenpeace, which wanted to use the clip to raise awareness of global warming that is melting glaciers in the area, uploaded the clip to YouTube.

“This marmot would like to give you a kiss for helping to save its home!” the description said.
