The DPRK’s KCNA news agency reports that the country’s leader Kim Jong-un has promoted several senior officers in the Korean People’s Army.

KCNA says ten officers have been given the rank of lieutenant general, and 38 promoted to the rank of Major General. Kim Jong-un said that in the history of the DPRK’s military forces striving toward success and glory, members of the Korean People’s Army have made every effort to meet the expectations of the former leader Kim Jong Il.

Kim Jong-un urged the Korean People’s Army to continue its efforts to fulfil its duty in achieving the final victory of revolutionary cause.
