文本及疑難解析

1. So, let's get under way on our tour around this wonderful park.
好，讓我們開(kāi)始游覽這個(gè)漂亮的公園。get under way是“開(kāi)始”的意思。

2. Creating the park required the demolition of lots of derelict buildings on the site. so most of the exciting park space all around you was originally warehouses and storehouses.
創(chuàng)建這個(gè)公園需要爆破很多廢棄的建筑，所以大家所在的這個(gè)令人激動(dòng)的公園的大部分空間以前都是倉(cāng)庫(kù)或貨棧。這句話的主語(yǔ)是“Creating the park”。

3. ...and finally up to the north, if you look in front of you now, there's a lake with a small island in the centre, you can hire rowing boats at the boat shed...
最后到北邊了，如果大家往前看，會(huì)看到一個(gè)湖，中間有一個(gè)小島，大家可以在船屋租劃艇。up to在這里是“輪到……”的意思。

題目解析

11～14題是選擇題。

11. 原文“I hope that you're all wearing your most comfortable shoes and that you can keep up the pace. ”中提到了“舒服的鞋子”，所以應(yīng)該選擇C，步行。

12. 原文“There used to be a lot of factories in this area until the 1960s. Creating the park required the demolition of lots of derelict buildings on the site, so most of the exciting park space all around you was originally warehouses and storehouses. ”中提到這兒曾經(jīng)有很多“factories”，所以應(yīng)該選擇B，工業(yè)建筑。

13. 原文“If the land was to be cleaned up, they wanted to use the site for recreation. 15～17題是地圖題。

注意在聽(tīng)之前把東西南北四個(gè)方向標(biāo)注出來(lái)，這樣在聽(tīng)的時(shí)候反應(yīng)會(huì)比較快一些。

15. 原文“Out to the east... The Olympic site has its own station to encourage the use of public transport. There is also a car park, but it only holds a limited number of cars. ”清楚地說(shuō)明了是在東邊，而且除了“station”外，那邊還有“car park”。

16. 原文“And around to the west, you can relax and sit on a bench to smell the flowers in the rose garden...”中也明確說(shuō)到了，在西邊有一個(gè)“rose garden”。

17. 原文“...and finally up to the north, if you look in front of you now, there's a lake with a small island in the centre, you can hire rowing boats at the boat shed, which you can't see from here, but if you look through the trees, you can see the café, which has lovely views across the water. ”中說(shuō)到在北邊，除了有湖、島、樹(shù)，穿過(guò)樹(shù)林就可以看到“café”。
