臺灣大地震，大陸網(wǎng)民無法登錄國際網(wǎng)站
Strong Earthquake Shakes Taiwan
Two earthquakes, registering magnitude 7.2 and 6.7 on the Richter Scale, struck off the southwest coast of Taiwan on Tuesday evening, causing damage and at least one death; however, despite early fears and precautionary warnings, no tsunami was triggered.
The epicenter of the first quake was just 15 kilometers from the coast of Taiwan. Local media reports that cracks appeared in many streets in the southern city of Pingtung and a major bridge was damaged.
The quake was felt throughout Taiwan. It swayed buildings and knocked objects off the shelves in Taipei, in the northern part of the island.
In Fujian Province on the Chinese mainland, which lies opposite Taiwan, a spokesperson from the local earthquake bureau, Yang Xiaoning, rules out the occurrence of a large earthquake in the region though it also felt a tremor.

據(jù)中央電視臺報道，記者從中國電信和中國網(wǎng)通證實，由于昨晚中國臺灣南部海域強烈地震，中美海纜“亞太一號”、“亞太二號”海纜、亞歐海纜等多條國際海底通信光纜發(fā)生中斷，中斷點在臺灣以南十五公里的海域，造成大陸的網(wǎng)民無法正常訪問國際網(wǎng)站，同時中國大陸至臺灣地區(qū)、美國、歐洲等方向的通信線路也受到影響。
從今日凌晨起，有來自北京、重慶、武漢等多地網(wǎng)通、電信用戶反映，無法正常訪問國外網(wǎng)站，包括雅虎在內(nèi)的多家國際知名網(wǎng)站均無法正常訪問，MSN等IM也無法正常登陸。中國網(wǎng)通以及中國電信集團公關(guān)處人士，均于9:00證實，昨晚臺灣地區(qū)的地震影響到內(nèi)地出口光纜，造成國內(nèi)訪問國外網(wǎng)站故障。中國電信和中國網(wǎng)通正在積極聯(lián)系境外的合作運營商，采用衛(wèi)星備份等多種方式抓緊修復(fù)，預(yù)計影響還將持續(xù)一段時間。
