Brazil legend Ronaldo could play the final game of his career against Scotland in London after saying that he wants to appear one last time for the national team.

The 34-year-old announced his retirement earlier this week after a glittering career in which he won the World Cup twice and was named World Player of the Year three times.

And with his career now at an end, Ronaldo has confirmed that he will ask the Brazilian FA to let him make his final appearance as a professional footballer in an international.

Brazilian TV station Globo reported that the appearance would likely be in the next few months - and, with Brazil set to face Scotland at the Emirates Stadium in a friendly on March 27, that opens the door to the possibility that the legendary striker's final kick of a football could take place on English soil.

"I want to make it a great party. I will go and see (Brazilian Football Confederation) president Ricardo Teixeira to make it a match for the Brazilian national side," said Ronaldo.
