這些名詞均含“意見(jiàn)、建議”之意。

1. advice ：普通用詞，側(cè)重依據(jù)個(gè)人經(jīng)驗(yàn)、學(xué)識(shí)和正確判斷而提出的忠言。

eg: Good advice is beyond price.（忠告好, 無(wú)價(jià)寶。）

2. opinion ：日常用詞，泛指對(duì)某事物的想法和意見(jiàn)。

eg: I don't wish todebate my opinions with you.（我不想就我的看法同你辯論。）

3. proposal ：指正式提出來(lái)供研究、采納或?qū)嵭械慕ㄗh。

eg:?They presented concreteproposals for improvement.（他們提出了具體的改進(jìn)建議。）

4. suggestion ：普通用詞，語(yǔ)氣比advice婉轉(zhuǎn)客氣，也不如proposal正式。著重為改進(jìn)工作、解決困難等提出的建議，有時(shí)含所提建議不一定正確，僅供參考的意味。

eg:?He made the suggestion that the political prisoners (should) be set free.（他提議釋放政治犯。）

5. recommendation ：指在自己經(jīng)歷的基礎(chǔ)上而提出的有益建議、意見(jiàn)或忠告。

eg:?The government has agreed to implement the recommendation in the report.（政府已同意實(shí)施報(bào)告中的建議。）

6. view ：側(cè)重指對(duì)重大的或引起公眾關(guān)注的問(wèn)題所持的看法和態(tài)度。

eg:?I take the view that we should put less money into nuclear weapons.（我認(rèn)為我們應(yīng)該在核武器上少花錢(qián)。）
