4 days on, the raging forest fire in Northeastern China shows no sign of letting up.

4天過去了，發(fā)生在中國東北地區(qū)的森林大火依然在咆哮，沒有就此罷手的跡象。

12,000 firefighters continue to battle through darkness with the blaze as the flame's fed by extremely hot weather.

極端炎熱的天氣助長了火勢。1萬2000名消防隊員還夜以繼日地同大火做斗爭。

Smoke was first spotted on Saturday, in the forest of the Greater Hinggan mountains. Only a couple of hours later, the blaze had quickly spread to the neighboring Heilongjiang Province.

上周六，有人發(fā)現(xiàn)大興安嶺的林區(qū)有濃煙冒出。僅僅幾小時后，火舌便迅速竄到了臨近的黑龍江省。

Authorities say the flames could be triggered by lightening. China issued red alert Monday, the highest possible warning for forest fires.

據(jù)專家分析，火災(zāi)可能是由閃電引發(fā)的。周一，中國拉響了紅色預(yù)警，這是對森林火災(zāi)的最高預(yù)警。

Some water's now falling from above, but it's not enough.

救災(zāi)人員通過飛機灑水，但也只是杯水車薪。

Rainfall is down by up to? 100% on the same period last year.

該地區(qū)的降水量較去年同期減少了100個百分比。

It is said that lightening doesn't strike the same place twice. But with dry and windy conditions forecast in the next few days, firefighters will struggle to control the blaze with or without more bolts from the sky.

據(jù)說閃電不會再次襲擊同一地點。但是，不管會不會再有閃電襲擊，就未來幾天的天氣狀況來看，干燥、大風仍然會給消防人員控制火勢帶來不小的麻煩。
