I should admit that English is the course that has impressed me most in college. Icling to the idea that the practical value of English is a strong motivator. In the first place, English adds greatly to the convenience and comfort of my life. For instance, as nearly all information on the Internet and over half the world’s technical and scientific periodicals are in English, mastering English will facilitate my work. In the second place, a good English standard also means chances and opportunities. With growing foreign investment in China, English, as the language of international business, plays a vital role in one’s career. Over years, it is the prospect of the usefulness of English courses that has inspired me to study it hard. ?
