I was biking home from school one day

and the ice cream truck is where it normally is

and I always go and get an ice cream,

but I was worried that something was wrong

when I saw a huge line of people waiting in line
我發(fā)現(xiàn)車(chē)前的人排成了長(zhǎng)龍

and the man wasn't serving anyone.
賣(mài)冰淇淋的人不在那里

I went and had a closer look
我走到近處一看

and I saw that the man had fainted inside of the van.
我發(fā)現(xiàn)賣(mài)冰淇淋的人在車(chē)?yán)飼灥沽?/div>

I didn't know what to do
我不知道自己應(yīng)該做什么

but I remembered my first aid training
但我想起了自己受過(guò)的急救培訓(xùn)

so I approached the truck
于是我走到車(chē)旁

and told him that I was a first aider
告訴他，我是一個(gè)急救人員

and I asked him if I could help.
我問(wèn)他自己可以幫助他嗎

He was conscious
他意識(shí)清醒

and replied with yes.
回答說(shuō)可以

I assumed that

it was the hot weather that had done this to the man
是炎熱的天氣讓這個(gè)男人出現(xiàn)了身體不適

as it is not normally hot
往年這個(gè)時(shí)候天氣并不熱

but it was that day
今天卻是個(gè)特例.

He looked pretty de-hydrated
他看起來(lái)有嚴(yán)重的脫水

so I grabbed one of the drinks from his truck
于是我抓起他車(chē)?yán)锏囊黄克?/div>

and I went inside of the van
跳上車(chē)

and gave it to him.
把水遞給他

I stayed in the area for about an hour
我在那里呆了大概一個(gè)小時(shí)

to make sure all had been sorted
確定一切都恢復(fù)正常

and from what I saw,
從我所見(jiàn)的跡象來(lái)看

the man was back on his feet
男人已經(jīng)恢復(fù)過(guò)來(lái)，能夠自主站立

and ready to make more ice creams
準(zhǔn)備做更多的冰淇淋了
