德墨忒耳
Demeter

德墨忒耳是農(nóng)業(yè)之神，羅馬名字刻瑞斯(Ceres)。她是宙斯的姐姐，掌管農(nóng)業(yè)的女神，給予大地生機(jī)，教授人類耕種，她也是正義女神。她與宙斯生下珀耳塞福涅(Persephone)，珀耳塞福涅后來被得墨忒耳的哥哥哈迪斯搶去做了冥后。因?yàn)槭ヅ畠海裏o心過問耕耘，令大地失去生機(jī)，直至宙斯出面，令她們母女可以重逢，大地才得以重生。每年的冬天就是她與女兒團(tuán)聚的日子，她放下工作陪伴女兒，令這段時間不宜耕作。

Demeter is the Greek goddess of grain and Ceres is the name by which the Romans knew her. Worship of Demeter is generally based on the story of the abduction of her daughter Persephone (Proserpina) as a result of which the earth experiences winter each year.
